Ambassador Deng Xijun Pays a Farewell Call on the Speaker of the Lower House of Afghanistan

On September 29th, 2015, H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Afghanistan, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, Speaker of the Lower House of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Ambassador Deng expressed gratitude to Ibrahimi for his important contribution to strengthening the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries. He said that parliamentary exchanges served as an important way to deepen the bilateral relations and the friendship between the two peoples. China was committed to further promoting the parliamentary exchanges and interaction between the two countries, so as to constantly enrich China-Afghanistan Strategic and Cooperative Partnership.

Ibrahimi said that Afghan parliament thought highly of developing friendly exchanges and cooperation with Chinese legislature, and hoped to learn from Chinese successful experience of governing and legislation, so as to push forward in-depth development of the China-Afghanistan Strategic and Cooperative Partnership. He appreciated Ambassador Deng’s active contribution to promoting the development of the Afghanistan-China friendly relations and deepening the cooperation between the legislatures of the two countries, while wished Ambassador Deng all the success in the future.
